Mike Buquoi

With over 20 years of experience in venture capital, investor relations, and energy and real estate strategies, Mike brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He began his career in 2001 at one of the nation’s largest oil and gas securities firms, focusing on venture capital management and investor education.

Over the years, Mike has worked closely with investors, guiding them through energy, drilling, production, and real estate projects. He has been involved in more than 50 private offerings, raising over $100 million across energy and real estate sectors. Before joining Basin Ventures, Mike served as the Executive VP of Investor Relations at Precision Global Corporation, supporting investors in the $38 billion self-storage industry.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the Dallas Cowboys and Lovejoy Leopards.
