Adam Butcher

Adam has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, as an entrepreneur, business owner, energy land broker, and investor. He is a co-founder of Basin Ventures and also serves as its President. In addition to his role with Basin, he is a co-founder and President of Eagle Land Services, a nation-wide industry leading oil and gas land brokerage.

He’s managed over $1.25B in traditional oil and gas projects on behalf of more than 50 industry players, across the United States. In addition, Adam has directly managed and deployed over $500MM in client and personal capital into mineral, royalty, and oil and gas working interest acquisition efforts. He is an industry expert in land and legal diligence and serves in this capacity on dozens of high-profile industry mergers and acquisitions each year.

Adam holds two BA degrees from Texas State University, in Political Science and History, as well as an MBA from Texas State University. He has obtained the highest degree of certification, CPL, in energy land management. Adam is a proud husband and father of three and resides in Southlake, TX. He is active in his community, enjoys coaching youth sports, and serves on a local city board.
